ANAM AN AMHRÁIN TG4 STARTS THIS SUNDAY ON TG4 AT 10:00 pm
Anam An Amhráin sees us animate new interpretations of 12 old Irish songs such as An Gréasaí Bróg, Tá Dhá Ghabhairín Bhuí Agam and Óro Sé do Bheatha Abhaile.
All songs are produced by Iarla O’Lionard and Kieran Lynch. Contemporary artists such as Paul Brady, Nell Ni Chróinín and Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh have recorded some of the tracks and animation is now complete. The show will premiere on Irish station TG4 over Christmas week, starting December 20th.
The series will be available on DVD in 2010.

is there going to be a cd recording of the songs? if so where would it be available from? really enjoyed the show.
Hi Grainne, not sure when but there will be a soundtrack available in Ireland I’m sure.

will the dvd be playable in the u.s.a. also the subtitles in irish are really helpful, would they be present on the dvd.
