Thank you, guys for an enchanting film! :-)
Tonight three generations of my family, from grandparents to teenage niece sat together in front of the screen and you really won everybody's heart!
The characters are lovable and very endearingly animated. The story is gripping and thrilling. And the visuals are simply the best I've seen for such a long time! Really brilliant! And in times of pointless 3D and over realistic CGi, well made 2D graphics that explore the possibilities of drawing are such a treat. And being an art historian who did his final exams on Medieval Irish book illumination I'was thrilled to see the "inspiration" shine through every now and then.
A big BRAVO! from Switzerland and I'd give you that Oscar anytime! Well done!

Just finished watching this with my husband, first-generation Polish-American, and our daughter, 15 years old. In a former life as an undergraduate, I studied medieval manuscripts including The Book of Kells, which I got to study firsthand at TCD in the early 1970s. Watching this film, I frankly expected to find it wanting. I sit here flabbergasted and humbled--what rich understanding and interpretation! Bravo to you all!

I watched the film tonight with my son.
All the reviews have been understatements = "Oscar nominee" in particular.
You deserve higher praise than golden trophies or I could give.
Thank you for bringing such a beautiful work into our home and hearts.
