Anam An Amhráin repeated on TG4 every Sunday

The much loved Anam An Amhráin is being repeated on TG4.

Co-produced with Sonta, this series sees some of our favourite children’s songs given a new lease of life, by wellknown singers and retold using the magic of animation.

Starting on June 20th at 9.30pm, it will run for 5 weeks on Sunday nights with a repeat show on TG4 every Tuesday @ 8.30pm

In this programme Seán Ó Liatháin and Séamus Ó Beaglaoich make a new recording of an ‘Poc ar Buille’ and John Beag Ó Flatharta sings  ‘Bean Pháidín’.

In this programme Muireann NicAmhlaoibh records a beautiful version of ‘An Gréasaí Bróg’ and Séamus Ó Beaglaoich sings his unique version of ‘An Seanduine’

In this programme Paul Brady records a passionate version of ‘Óró sé do bheatha bhaile’ while Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh sings the lullaby  ‘Dun do Shúil’

In this programme sisters Maighréad & Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill make a fresh recording of  ‘Cad é sin don té sin’ while Declan O’Rourke records a rollicking version of ‘An Damhan Alla’. This programme also contains an animated version of Bleán na Bó, Tomás Mac Eoin’s hilarious composition about his Connemara cow

In this programme Róisín Elsafty and Damien Dempsey make a new recording of  an ‘Cailleach an Airgid’ while Nell Ní Chróinín sings ‘Tá dhá ghabhairín bhuí agam’
