“Ledge End of Phil”: one of the Successful Frameworks Projects
The short animation film “Ledge End of Phil”, to be written and directed by Paul Morris and produced by Paul Young for Cartoon Saloon, is one of the five projects selected for funding on the Frameworks short scheme.
“This is the 17th year of the Frameworks short film scheme, which is dedicated exclusively to the production of animated films. The scheme was established to develop new talent and skills in the field of animation and has been extremely successful in encouraging innovative and novel work from Irish animators.“ *
This funding has already been awarded to the multi-award winning Cartoon Saloon production “Old Fangs”, directed by Adrien Merigeau and Alan Holly.
“Frameworks is co-financed by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board, RTÉ, the Arts Council and BAI. The projects will premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh 2013.”*
