Having lost her father, a young girl finds herself alone in a harsh and lawless land. Her fortunes appear to change when an army captain proposes marriage but all is not what it seems and she soon finds that her new circumstances are far worse than she could have imagined. Bluebeard is a dark and haunting tale taking inspiration from the fairytale made infamous by Charles Perrault.
