Cúl an Tí
TG4’s Cúl an Tí series celebrates the Irish traditional song in all its haunting beauty with beautiful hand-drawn and digitially animated films made by Cartoon Saloon, Paper Panther Productions and Giant Animation. Co-produced by Fócas Films, these are a unique opportunity to see short films accompanied by some great singers and musicians featuring Kíla, Lisa Hannigan, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Mundy, Mary Coughlan, John Spillane and Bernie Pháid.
Each short film is directed by a different director showcasing their own individual style and those of the artists who helped bring their vision to life. Cúl an Tí is currently being shown on TG4 and we hope you get to see it and share it with us.
The directors involved were Walter Giampaglia, Pádraig Fagan, Alex Sherwood, Ross Stewart, Lily Bernard, Janis Aussel, Louise Bagnall, Mark Fisher, Tod Polson, Joe Carroll, Eimhin McNamara and Paul Ó Muiris.
